Hungry for Dance Moves

Recent Addiction: AUDITION

From O2Jam, we have discovered AUDITION!

default

AUDITION DANCE BATTLE is a Korean-made Multiplayer Online Casual Game. It actually hit China by storm and is starting to make the same impact to the Philippines. It launched last Nov 18 and 19 2006 at the World Trade Center.

Audition is currently a beta site for Filipino users and is being published by e-Games Phil(makers of O2Jam, RAN Online, Supreme Destiny, Dreamville, Battle Position)

Basically, the game is about creating dance moves by following in the set of arrows setted on screen. These keys would allow the character(made also by user) to dance along with the music. As a novice, the character will have to beat other users and create some marks on the score board to get money out of it(or DEN). Win or loose, you will take home some Den. Of course, the money would allow you to buy new and funky clothes. The more money you have, the better the clothes you can wear.

Users also earn points during the game to increase their level or skill. The arrows or keys to complete a dance move becomes fast phase as your "level of understanding" with Audition increases as well. By certain level, you can gain a dance certificate or license so you can join Dance competitions.

This friday (Jan 19 2007), there would be an Audition Dance Tour Competition to be held at SM Mall of Asia. The contest is open to individuals as well as school dance troupes.

R U Worthy? Let's dance.

Maxicare. Ito ang favourite benefit ng employees from peoplesupport. PLATINUM>500,00 limit for In and OutPatients. You can apply for the same benefit for your parents. Madaming hindi nagReresign sa company na to dahil sa Maxicare. Well, another reason is CocoLife na magagamit mo pag namatay ka na.

Oh well, I have this pain growing in my teeth na for days!! Its my WISDOM TOOTH and its killing me. My cousin, which is a dentist, told me to have it taken out. PaX-Ray ko daw muna (she calls it Panoramic Xray) to check the impacted tooth.

defaultImpacted Tooth: A tooth beneath the gum tissue that lies against another tooth, under bone or soft tissue, which is unlikely to grow out on its own.

Pag hindi xa tinanggal, it might cause sever damage sa bearby ipin ko and baka kung kelan matanda nako--saka pako magkakasungki. And, GUESS WHAT!?- Hindi lang sya basta bunot but a minor surgery. You wont feel the procedure though the recovery, which im sure will be very2 PAINFUL. So, I run to Maxicare since feeling ko dahil surgery xa--covered nila. I went there last Tuesday, waited for the dentist and once I was able to talk to someone, she said na hindi covered sa Dental Benefit ung extraction of a wisdom tooth. Now I approached a MaxiaCare representative hoping na any surgeon with do it. But *whoa! Bwisit na wisom tooth yan(sana bnbgyan nako ng enough wisdom) hindi din sya covered. Not only that, even a simple BLOOD TEST is not covered since its DENTAL RELATED! Geesh!!! Umuwi akong bwisit na bwisit promis! Minsan ko na lng magamit ung card na yon and then what!? Haay... Naiisip ko na lang how the company brags that we can enjoy up to P500,000 worth of Medical benefit pero a simple extraction of an abnormal(not counted sa permanent group of teeth natin) hindi pa nila masama. By the way, the surgery would cost me 7,500 for one teeth.

boredom

default

Boredom as defined by Google is a chosen state of mind brought on by laziness and the firm belief that others are in charge of the so supposedly afflicted person's own entertainment.

What do I feel today? Totally bored. I am happy with my account though this shift kills me. I started with this company having the complete awareness of the job. I was on Graveyard shift for almost a year including the rough schedules I need to comply. Name the time!! 7pm-8-9-10--up to 3am-no-9am- I experienced those work shifts.

I was able to experience the luxury of being an agent in the morning as well and it feels so--GREAT! having the right time for breakfast lunch dinner. I can stay late at night to watch featured films or good shows but still getting enough and healthy sleep. Now Im back to the usual night shift and let me say its harder than my first time!

I can't get any good resst unless I take a 12hour sleep(which is impossible).. Me and my colleagues here are getting the same boring reactions. Taking note that we are only FOUR in the group--yesterdays story is tomorrows continuation. What makes it worst is that we dont get to speak with any customers making our lives more--boring. I actually dont know whats next for me. I want to have a morning work for a good pay.

 Jeeeesh! This life sucks sometimes!

sum up the long weekend

Just got back from that 4 day vacation. I don't want to make this long but to start things off-Friday, thanksgiving-we just had a couple of drinks with friends--oops! friend lang pala.(may problema lng ung tao) and later during the night. Had "few" drinks with other friends-hehe. I still actually went to bed earlier than the usual..that was like before 10pm. (Ikaw ng manatiling gising ng mahigit 2araw mahigit!). Nwei, come saturday-ALOHA restday! Although take note: "Rest day is the cousin of Boredom" and so yeah--we got bored! So nag food trip n lang kme!! At sa pagsapit ng dilim.. Inuman na nmn--xmpre we're anticipating Nov 26! Thats my "habibi's" birthday! Yahoo! We stayed up until past 12 and *bloog* bagsak na nman! Kuya Vovoi(che's bro) is expecting us at Antipolo-Sunday. We did setted the alarm however, our head were pillow-stucked and it really hurts! Jeesh! "Waking up is hard to do!" hehe.. Moving forward, bath by 10am and off by past 11. We bought Palabok and they gave us ice cream(panghanda) hehe.
I was actually curious, kuya was selling his "Nextbase" dvd bought at Western Appliance Cntre. Hmm--big time(hindi sa RAON) I'm wondering if I would consider that(worth 2,500) or the dvd's from (yeah) RAON which would only cost me less than 2k. What do you guys think?

default

FOUR long days! That is what I am going to take this week--4 freaking days of lax and vacation. (Why!?) It's thanksgiving! We have to adopt some of their Holidays as well- :) It's probably a good thing since we won't waste the usual Holiday DOUBLE pay! hehe..

As for me, I wont be out of town or anything though I would have to celebrate the weekend with *someone. Yihee!! hehe. Someone very special. (Nakanang!) Plans!? None so far. Inom!? Definitly!!

The vacation starts this Friday, 24th and ends this SUnday though I also applied a leave for Monday. I haven't decided whether I will retract the Monday coz we have tons of work recently. I just feel like taking the long weekend off. We are suppose to go to Enchanted. Me and my zillow team.. I don't know what happened! hahaha!

Today, Thursday--It's a wash day. Not the school wash day were you'll wear your "uso" outfits.. (harhar!) Its WASH ALL CLOTHES day! We have almost 2 and a half weeks of pile up! Jeesh! Wonder how much all that would cost!? :D

I share my Zhen de Shou

Month of August when I learned about how I can actually lose weight instantly. Thanks to "Lynn", her girlfriend used to take it and mentioned how fast the results were. He was saying like on the 5th day, you'd see the difference. From the face to arms and belly and what not.

I am actually not the "pills" type. Even when i'm sick, I don't drink medicine often but instead I drink plenty of water and eat fruits and veggies and the like. I used to work out a lot during college, I do several trainings back then so I don't mind eating a lot since I get to burn it as well. Before graduation, there goes my less exercise = more meals habit. The only exercise I get is probably walking! Pathetic dba!? When I started working, I gained more weight. Oh well, I wasn't that worried bec. I used 2 do fasting for 3-4 days during highschool and it would solve the fat issue that fast! The problem however is.. I cant do it anymore! I doubt if you can do the same effort when you have a mom like mine! She's the best cook alive! My dad and my younger brother usually protest why she intentionally cooks so gooood that we cant resist them no matter how full we are and whether or not we are on diet! I also tried going to the gym before. Thats last year when there was a promo @ slimmers world near my work place for 3months and pay only 3-4k(cant rem!). I go straight to the gym after shift- jogging and lifting stuff while my head is half dead and my body is veggie lump from graveyard work already. I did try to attend most classes since it does feel great after a run and the like. Unfortunately, I often feel beaten up, Of course I dont to wear and tear!! So i only used 1 n a half month of the subscription. Bottom line, I threw the 3k away! I didn't exactly gave up hope but I surely stopped thinking about getting thin after all the frustrations. Anyway, eating is one of the most pleasurable thing to do so what the heck!?

FYI-i'm not obese! I just want to have my clothes fit again. Going back to the pills, I surfed all about it over the internet and searched where I could find a good buy. Pills is something you would take in, so honestly, I was pretty uncomfortable and scared about it. Alas! I found someone who would deliver 'em right at my doorstep. Product name: a.k.a Zhen de Shou and it costs P150. It's taken once a day ONLY and thats 30 minutes before breakfast. I started drinking the infamous pills and wasn't anticipating that it would really give me the results or in other words, I initially convinced myself not to expect "some" results. I just laughed at the several people who noticed the "changes" on my second day and that I was getting thinner. I was like, "yeah right! Anu yon!? 2 araw lang! ewan!" until, 4-5 days after, everyone-- including my mom and my old friends started to notice the big WOWS. That's the time I get 2 wear my old clothes again! And sure yeah they did fit!! Everyone became so eager to know how I lose weight that fastt. Some find it amazing and they liked it on me. Some are not used to me being slimmer. For those who know me, I have cheek bones (not the fatty round type) it screams when I smile though. And since, its not part of what the pills will burn (cheek bone nga e) it would stay there and wont look proportion for the face.

Well, I did get the same reactions during the time I had a strict diet. Pure oatmeal 3x a day!-- and my brother was like, "Ate ayoko ng payat ka!" and decided to add some weight after. Now, I dunno! I think im an average. Although I still drink one pill at a time just to control my "katakawan"! Haha! But I have people who order to have the same progress. The good news is-- 3 out of 5 became slimmer. Those who did not became successful are those who decided to stop. They claim that they were experiencing weird reactions like palpitations, etc. I cant stress it that much though I can refer you to a link were I've learned the diet pill's pros and cons. Click on this: http://www.myglobe.com.ph/myglobeportal/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4783.

I do want to post this article for more people to be aware that there is a way to have the slimmer look you wanted. It's a matter of confidence and determination!! (Ahh! Hehe). I have my friends take it as well and like I said- I drink 'em whenever I want to and still- that's ONCE a day!

PS. If you read the link I gave, what happened to the actress that got very sick 'due to diet pills' as she claims was also discussed on the forum. Otes! That's it for me!

Another bottom line: if you want to place an order, please contact ME (of course) at 09159282600/09223215828

Pay Pal

Pay Pal ATM's are cluttered with people again. Oh yeah! It's pay day!--And its the 15th! Better than recieving every 30th.

Along with the frustrations I have with my enormous deductions every cut-off--which I am getting used to by the way.

SO far-I can still stick with this job. By tom (16th) my mom will have premium access to Maxicare, what I really looked forward. She can use the card to its extent now. And soon after she takes necessary medication, if the company still gets me the brain freezing huge deductions. Im gonna leave though a pretty sad idea. Anyway, my friends I left at JG is still the same friends I'll have even if i'd leave the company. Come 2006, hopefully, something would change, and again hopefully, its for the better.

We're off to Quiapo again later for a VCD hunt. We have to make that damn thing work! mp4d brigade! and lotsa bargain! hehehe. Just be careful with the people around you since they have defintly anticipated how much you drained off the "Pay Pals". Cheers!

My DisOrders

I have been experiencing a lot of sleeping problems lately. If you would notice, most of my blog posts are health related. Oh well, i think im suffering from a minor insomnia! Not only do i get nightmares often, like times that i feel like my body is paralized while asleep. You are actually aware of whats happening around you yet you cant scream or move from your position. Geesh! One of the scariest nights i had.. not just one but THREE consecutive sleep paralysis experience.

default

Clearly, i have sleeping disorder. Why am i not surprised to experience more! During college, i noticed that my feet gets so stressed before actually falling asleep. It is VERY irritating! you tend to relax your muscles but that doesnt seem to work. So even though i really very sleepy i have to do stretchings and what not. I found out just recently, that it is a "known" disorder. Its called "restless leg syndrome". What da!?Knowing that i became more paranoid with the situation. Sleepless-Restless nights! This will soon drive me insane-promis! I get to sleep for 3-5 hours tops everyday! looking seriously doomed during shift. Haaai!

default

Now im thinking-There might be something really wrong with me!! Don't cha think?

Here's a heads-up to what im talking about. You might be experiencing the same. Join me-let's see a doctor!!

What is restless leg syndrome?

Restless leg syndrome is a common cause of painful legs. The leg pain of restless leg syndrome typically eases with motion of the legs and becomes more noticeable at rest. Restless leg syndrome also features worsening of symptoms during the early evening or later at night. The characteristic nighttime worsening of symptoms in persons with restless legs syndrome frequency leads to insomnia.

Restless leg syndrome usually begins slowly. Over time, the legs become more affected. Less frequently, restless leg syndrome can affect the arms.

What causes restless leg syndrome?

The cause of restless leg syndrome is unknown in most patients. However, restless leg syndrome has been associated with pregnancy, obesity, smoking, iron deficiency and anemia, nerve disease, polyneuropathy (which can be associated with hypothyroidism, heavy metal toxicity, toxins, and many other conditions), other hormone disease, such as diabetes, and kidney failure (which can be associated with vitamin and mineral deficiency). Some drugs and medications have been associated with restless leg syndrome including caffeine, alcohol, H2-histamine blockers (such as Zantac and Tagamet) and certain antidepressants (such as Elavil).

Occasionally, restless legs run in families.

Breathing Exercises

Try these breathing exercises. I find it fun and it helps me in making out to sleep.

Alternate Nostril Breathing
© Roger Jahnke O.M.D.

Holding one nostril closed inhale and exhale slowly and deeply. Then hold the opposite nostril closed, inhale and exhale deeply. This breath is often done in preparation for deep relaxation or meditation. You will notice that usually one or the other of the nostrils is more open. If you breath on a small hand mirror, the patch of mist from one nostril will be larger than from the other. The ancient practitioners of Yoga in India were aware of the significance of this and employed this knowledge to enhance health and consciousness. Western science did not notice this phenomena until the 1800's. It has been found recently, through the application of current neuro-science, that the practice of alternate nostril breathing helps to balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

Applications Suggestions:

  • Health maintenance: 10 to 12 repetitions, 2 to 3 sessions per day.

  • Health enhancement: 10 to 12 repetitions, 4 to 6 sessions per day.

  • Disease intervention: Start slowly and build up to 15 to 20 repetitions, 8 to 10 sessions per day or up to even 100 repetitions in a single session.

  • Getting started: 10 to 12 repetitions, once or twice per day. Notice that this method is very quieting.
Full Chest and Abdominal Breathing

This method is simply a deepening of the breath. Take slow, deep, rhythmic breaths through the nose. When the diaphragm drops down, the abdomen is expanded allowing the air to rush into the vacuum created in the lungs. Then the chest cavity is expanded, allowing the lungs to fill completely. This is followed by a slow, even exhalation which empties the lungs completely. This simple breath practice done slowly and fully, with intention, concentration and relaxation activates all of the primary benefits of therapeutic breath practice. In Qigong and Pranayama the breath is retained for additional benefit.

Application Suggestions:

  • Health maintenance: 6 to 10 repetitions, 2 to 3 sessions per day.

  • Health enhancement: 6 to 10 repetitions, 4 to 6 sessions per day.

  • Disease intervention: Start slowly and build up to 15 to 20 repetitions, in 10 to 15 sessions per day.

  • Getting started: 2 to 3 repetitions, once or twice per day. Remember to keep it easy and fun.
